Following the success and awards at Eton College, Lee Marley was nominated by the architect, John Simpson, for this high quality build at Lady Margaret Hall, part of Oxford University. North Oxford is one of the country’s architecturally outstanding Victorian suburbs. Located in the heart of the conservation area the projects design and construction compliments the Victorian gothic detailing in the surrounding area.

Utilising our experience at Eton College in order to most effectively manage the build sequence during the construction of the independent façade in Flemish and English bond using lime mortar and flush pointing in true Victorian style. There were large quantities of pre-fabricated steel arches as well as natural and prefabricated stonework. Lee Marley also constructed the structural frame of the buildings, using Stepoc in order to facilitate lecture space and sound proofing.
